Jo-Ann Strauss needs no introduction! But she’s more than a public speaker, blogger, ambassador, model, former Miss South Africa to name a few – She’s a mom of 4 who needed the perfect kitchen that would grow with her little ones.

A house and a home have always been very vital to Jo-Ann, especially one that’s timeless and represents her personality. She wanted a home for her children, where they could enjoy the space as much as she does. Where her children can dream and grow and achieve all their goals.

This kitchen design was incredibly important to Jo-Ann, and also the first element of the home she started designing with Monique. Monique worked closely with Jo-Ann to give her the dream process of designing a kitchen.

This is the first home Jo-Ann has built together with her husband, and she really wanted a kitchen that had natural elements but was also modern. A simple look that blended into the environment with wooden features. What makes Jo-Ann’s kitchen so beautiful, is that it looks amazing on its own, while blending into the rest of her home and the environment around her.

Functionality and quality are equally important when it comes to creating a family home, especially for Jo-Ann and her husband. With four young kids, her kitchen will always be a buzz! The design of the kitchen changed completely from the first-look to arriving on the site where Monique and Jo-Ann knew we had to take advantage of the view and switch the kitchen around to where Table Mountain can be viewed in all its glory.

Jo-Ann’s new kitchen is there to serve the purpose of being a place that she can enjoy together with her little ones. Where they can grow with her, and where they can feel at home as well.
